Many years ago I was public school teacher too. That was in Quintino, Rio de Janeiro. My school stood next to a Febem facility. I have fond memories of those brave boys and girls who struggled to get an education. I also have terrifying memories of gang fights. But the good ones outweigh the bad ones.
